MedCom Solutions was founded in 1986 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. During MedCom’s early history, our primary focus was to provide strategic pricing services to our
clients through our patented pricing algorithm, Strategic Hospital Pricingtm (SHPtm).

Since our inception, we have
evolved into a full service consulting and software firm, specializing in
Chargemaster reviews and maintenance for individual hospitals, hospital groups and physician groups. This also includes software and services designed to assist hospitals with their compliance efforts regarding local and national governmental regulatory guidelines.
 

We have provided software and consulting services to a wide client base that extends from small facilities to large urban healthcare systems.

We have historically and consistently provided innovative and ground-breaking solutions to our clients. At the onset of an engagement, we will target those areas of priority to ensure that immediate issues are addressed.  Once implemented, we will benchmark the results to ensure that your facility is achieving the ROI that was forecasted.

Why River Walk Corporate Centre?

For us it was all about location, character and cost.

We were also attracted to the extensive expansion possibilities presented with this property.

All of our clients know about the location of the trains that
run along the Monongahela River. Our office is practically
situated right above the tracks. That’s a unique designator
for MedCom, and highly recognizable from various vantage points including The Liberty Bridge, South Side Slopes, Mt. Washington, and downtown Pittsburgh.
